I. VALUATION CONSULTANCY SERVICES
(a) Manpower
The company has two directors, both being experienced, conscientious and highly proficient property professionals who are well acquainted with the Tanzania property market. Furthermore, the company has two other Professional Staff and two Associates with varied professional backgrounds related to the property profession as: Valuers, Real Property Investment Analysts, Estate Agents, Property Managers and Economists. On large-scale and international assignments, the company can readily recruit competent additional professional staff on a contract basis.
(b) Experience
Our company is manned by professional manpower with sufficient experience in the valuation of all types of properties/asset. Staff experience ranges from 5 years to 20 years.
(c) Types of Assets we can value
The assets that we normally value are quite varied and include retail, office, industrial, and residential properties, bare land, plots, agricultural property; hotels, petrol filling stations, stadiums, dance halls, disco halls, cinema halls, businesses, loose tools, forests, non-precious minerals, Information and Communication Equipment, crops, livestock, motor vehicles; furniture, fittings and equipment; and plant and machinery and so on.
(d) Purposes of Valuation
We undertake professional valuations of a broad spectrum of assets for a variety of purposes of valuation including: Business Valuation, Purchase/Sale of property, Rating or Property Tax Assessment, Rent Assessment Purposes, Mortgage Lending, Financial Reporting requirements, take-overs, mergers, stock exchange floatation, Compulsory Acquisition, Liquidation, Probate, Taxation, Insurance purposes and so on. (e) Legal Compliance
Both directors are Fully Registered Surveyors (FRS) with the National Council of Professional Surveyors (NCPS) which confers upon them legal status to practice in the country as per the provision of the Professional Surveyors (Registration) Act of 1977. The Company also has a valid practicing license also issued by the National Council of Professional Surveyors (NCPS).
(f) Compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and International Valuation Standards
All valuations that we undertake comply fully, where relevant, with the current International Valuation Standards (IVS). Valuations that are carried out for Financial Reporting purposes confirm fully to prevailing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
